PRP Facial - “Vampire" Facial

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Facial

“Vampire Facial”

PRP facials go by many names. Some call it a “Vampire facial”, “Vampire facelift”, or a “Blood Facial”. But, don’t let those names scare you, PRP facials are extremely beneficial in rejuvenating your skin.

What are the benefits of a PRP Facial?

Platelets contain a large quantity of growth factors which encourage new cell generation, increase skin function and production of collagen, while strengthening elastin. The benefits of platelets have been proven to improve fine lines and wrinkles, reduce pore size, soften acne scarring and improve under eye bags and unwanted skin textures.

How is a PRP facial done?

Numbing cream is applied to the skin to prevent any discomfort. Next, a small amount of blood is drawn and run through a centrifuge to separate the platelets out from the rest of the blood. The platelets are then applied to the skin right after microdermabrasion or applied during microneedling treatment for a deeper penetration of the growth factors, which provides significant improvement of treatment outcomes.

What to expect from a "Vampire Facelift"

Hyaluronic acid is then applied topically to deeply penetrate and hydrate the skin. You can expect your skin to look somewhat red as though you have a sunburn. It can take up to 48 hours for redness to subside.
